Pastor Dennis brings over forty years of experience as a pastor, university professor, dean, marketing consultant, conference speaker, facilitator, fund raiser, seminar leader, investment banker and author. As a turn-around-specialist, helping congregations deal with change, leadership development, strategic planning and spiritual renewal, he has served 20 Presbyterian congregations as transitional Senior Pastor in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida and California, and in March 2017 has joined Covenant as our Teaching and Shepherding Pastor.

In addition to teaching international diplomacy at Temple University for 18 years, he was Director of International Programs, Assistant to the President, founding dean of Temple’s Center City Campus, and Director of Corporate Development. For five years he was Dean of the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He holds degrees from the University of Redlands, Princeton Theological Seminary, Rutgers University, and did his PhD studies in international diplomacy at Syracuse University.

Dennis is the husband of Kristina Sachs, a justice advocate/community educator for the International Justice Mission, a prayer warrior, actress, recording artist and partner in ministry. Kristina holds degrees from San Francisco State University and Fuller Theological Seminary. Kristina and Dennis live in Anaheim Hills and are the proud grand-parents of four grandsons who live in Tucson, Arizona.
